Friends of the SHARE Center

Friends of the SHARE Center (FoSC) is a grassroots auxiliary group of community members and volunteers that formed in 2024 to raise community support for and awareness about the SHARE Center.

Many people in the community don’t realize how important the SHARE Center is to our community. TSC provides basic essential services to people in crisis, helping them to get on their feet by removing the obstacles that keep them in homelessness and addiction. In doing so, TSC also reduces strain on public resources and private businesses, like BCPD, the hospital, jail and library.

FoSC’s first event was the Carnival Food Fest at Kellogg Arena in November 2024. They are also organizing Cher for SHARE (link) scheduled for November 6, 2025. They host twice-annual meet-ups at local restaurants for interested people to come and learn about, and hear feedback about, TSC. A core group of Friends meets monthly to discuss upcoming events.
