Friday, March 20, 2020:

Being homeless makes people even more vulnerable to illnesses like the Coronavirus. The SHARE Center has been working with the Battle Emergency Operations Center and other community partners to ensure our homeless neighbors have all of their basic needs met in a supportive, safe, and healthy environment.

Working together, we were able to designate Full Blast as the temporary location for our day shelter beginning MOnday, March 23, 2020.  This allows us to accomodate our consumers with enough space for social distancing. The SHARE Center has also expanded its meal service and is offering take out at both Full Blast (for those who are homeless) and at the SHARE Center (for those who are housed, but need something to eat). The Haven of Rest is working towards a solution for overnight shelter. We are fortunate to have forward thinking community leaders who are looking out for those most at risk!
